What Happens When a Market Resolves
When a Polymarket market resolves, winning shares pay $1.00 and losing shares pay $0, straight into your Polymarket balance. What Polycopy shows and what your bot does next.

Markets resolve on Polymarket, under the resolution rules written into each market. When a market you hold resolves, every winning share pays $1.00 and every losing share pays $0. The proceeds credit your Polymarket balance automatically. There is nothing to claim on Polycopy, and Polycopy charges no fee at resolution.
What you see on Polycopy
Your Polycopy Portfolio marks the position as resolved and books the P&L, so the result shows up in your performance history the same way a sold position would. Because Polycopy is non-custodial, the money itself never touches Polycopy. It lands in your Polymarket account, where your funds live.
What your bot does next
When a position held by one of your bots resolves, the capital that was tied up in it frees up inside the bot's budget. The bot resumes copying with it, within the limits you set. You do not need to restart anything or move money back.
Disputes and delays
Some markets are disputed or need clarification before Polymarket finalizes the outcome, and payout waits until that process finishes. If a market you hold looks finished but has not paid out, the resolution is usually still in progress on Polymarket's side. See Polymarket's help center for how their resolution and dispute process works.
