Polymarket Rebates and Your P&L

Polymarket pays some of your trading fees back as rebates. How Polycopy credits them to the trades that earned them and counts them in your P&L.

Last updated September 14, 2026

Polymarket pays some traders a share of their fees back. These are Polymarket rebates. The money is paid by Polymarket, straight to your Polymarket wallet, usually once a day. Polycopy doesn't take any of it.

What Polycopy counts in your P&L

Two kinds of payment are tied to your trades, so we count them in your results.

Taker rebates

Polymarket refunds part of the fee you paid when your order filled against the book. The share depends on how much you've traded recently. See Polymarket's help center for their current tiers.

Maker rebates

Polymarket pays orders that rested on the book and got filled a share of the fees in that market.

Other payments Polymarket makes to your wallet, like interest on idle cash or liquidity rewards, aren't results of a trade. We don't add them to any trade or bot P&L.

How a rebate is credited

Polymarket pays one rebate a day for all your trading. We split it back across the trades that earned it.

Matched to your trades

Each rebate is credited to the Polycopy trades from the day it was earned, in proportion to the fee each one paid.

Trading elsewhere stays separate

If you also traded outside Polycopy that day, that part of the rebate isn't credited to your Polycopy trades or bots.

Counted when the trade closes

A rebate joins a trade's P&L when the trade closes or resolves, the same way its fee does.

Where you see them

Rebates are already inside the P&L numbers you see. You can also see them on their own.

Net P&L and Total P&L

These are after trading fees and include Polymarket rebates on closed trades.

Polymarket rebates tile

Your bot's page and your Portfolio show a Polymarket rebates tile once you've earned some. It includes rebates on trades that are still open.

Bots that compound

If a bot is set to compound its winnings, rebates on its closed trades add to its budget like any other profit.

When will a rebate show up?

Polymarket usually pays rebates for a day of trading shortly after midnight UTC. We record them within a few hours and credit them to your trades the same morning.

Why don't I see a rebates tile?

The tile only appears once Polymarket has paid a rebate on your Polycopy trades. Polymarket only pays rebates above a small minimum, so light trading may not earn one.
