How to Manage Your Account Details

Where every Polycopy account setting lives: display name, notification preferences, trading defaults, 2FA, and your wallet connection.

Last updated August 22, 2026

Almost everything about your account lives on one page: Settings. Here is what is on it, and where.

What lives where in Settings

Your display name

At the top of the page, next to your avatar. This is the name other people see.

Subscription and wallet

Your Premium status and billing, plus your connected Polymarket wallet and the Disconnect button.

Notifications

Email alerts and recaps, and in-app notifications. Each can be turned on and off independently.

Trading

Your default slippage tolerance and your default order types for buys and for sells.

2FA security

Set up or disable your authenticator app, and review the list of approved devices.

Help and guides

Shortcuts back into this help centre.

1

Open Settings

Go to polycopy.app/settings.

2

Edit your display name

Click your name at the top of the page, type the new one, and save. It updates everywhere your profile appears.

3

Set your notification preferences

In Notifications, use the email toggle to control everything at once, or open it to pick which alerts you want. In-app notifications are a separate toggle.

4

Check your trading defaults

In Trading, review your slippage tolerance and your buy and sell order types. The default slippage is 7%. These apply to new copies, not to trades that have already been placed.

5

Review your security

In 2FA Security, confirm 2FA is on and that the approved devices list only contains browsers you recognise.

A few things that catch people out

Cancelling Premium does not disconnect your wallet

Those are two separate actions. If you want the wallet gone, disconnect it yourself in the wallet section. See How to Disconnect or Change Your Wallet.

Trading defaults do not change open positions

They apply to the next copy, not to anything already filled.

Turning off email notifications does not stop account emails

You will still receive sign-in links and billing receipts, because those are not marketing.
