How to Disconnect or Change Your Wallet

Disconnect your Polymarket wallet from Polycopy, see exactly what is deleted and what is kept, and connect a different Polymarket account instead.

Last updated August 22, 2026

1

Open Settings

Go to polycopy.app/settings and find the Subscription and Wallet section.

2

Pause anything still trading

If you have Auto Copy bots running, pause or stop them first. A bot with no wallet to sign with cannot copy anything, and stopping it yourself is tidier than letting it fail.

3

Click Disconnect

Confirm on the "Remove wallet?" prompt that appears.

4

Confirm it is gone

You will see a confirmation, and the wallet section will show no connected wallet.

What disconnecting removes, and what it keeps
ItemWhat happens

Your encrypted key at Turnkey

Deleted permanently.

Polycopy's ability to place trades for you

Gone immediately.

Your wallet address on your Polycopy account

Removed.

Your copy and trade history in Polycopy

Kept, so your records stay intact.

Your Polymarket account, balance, and open positions

Untouched. Nothing moves and nothing closes.

Your Premium subscription

Unaffected. Disconnecting is not cancelling.

Connecting a different Polymarket account

There is no switch-account button. Disconnect the current wallet first, then connect the new one the same way you connected the first, by pasting that account's exported key. Only one Polymarket account can be connected at a time.

Export the new key from the Polymarket account that actually holds the funds you want to trade with. See How to Export Your Polymarket Key.

The symptom of having linked the wrong account

This is common when someone has both an email login and a wallet login on Polymarket.

Polycopy shows a zero balance while Polymarket shows money

You connected an account with no funds in it. Disconnect and connect the funded one.

Your positions in Polycopy do not match Polymarket

You are looking at two different accounts. Compare the wallet address in Polycopy Settings against the address on your Polymarket profile.

Copies keep failing for insufficient balance on a funded account

Same cause, unless your cash is genuinely low. Check Cash vs Portfolio Value first, because that one is more common.
