How to Delete Your Account

How to request Polycopy account deletion, what to do first, what deletion removes, what is retained for legal and accounting reasons, and why your funds are unaffected.

Last updated August 22, 2026

There is no self-serve delete button today, so account deletion is a request. Before you make it there are a few things worth doing first, because deletion does not do them for you.

1

Stop your bots and settle your positions

Stop any Auto Copy bots, and decide what to do with open positions. Sell them, or let them resolve. Deleting your Polycopy account leaves them exactly as they are on Polymarket.

2

Cancel Premium

Cancel your subscription so billing stops. See Can I cancel my subscription?.

3

Disconnect your wallet

Settings, wallet section, Disconnect. That deletes your encrypted key from Turnkey immediately rather than waiting on a request to be processed.

4

Save anything you want to keep

Export or note down any records you want for your own accounting. Your Polymarket trade history stays on Polymarket, but your Polycopy view of it will not survive deletion.

5

Send the request

Email help@polycopy.com from the address on the account with the subject "Delete my account", or use the Get Help form on the help centre. Writing from the account address is what confirms it is you.

What deletion removes, and what is retained
ItemWhat happens

Your profile and display name

Removed

Who you follow, and your saved traders

Removed

Your Auto Copy bots and their settings

Removed

Your encrypted key at Turnkey

Deleted, if you have not already disconnected

Your Polycopy copy history

Removed from your account view

Records of executed trades and fees charged

Retained where we are required to keep them for accounting, tax, and legal obligations

Billing records held by Stripe

Retained by Stripe under their own retention rules

Your Polymarket account, balance, and positions

Untouched. They are not ours to delete.

Retention is not us quietly keeping your account alive. It is the minimum record of transactions that actually happened, held because financial records have to be. It is not used to keep serving you the product.
