Filtering the Trade Feed

Every filter on the Polycopy trade feed and what it actually does, so you can cut a busy feed down to the trades you care about.

Last updated August 24, 2026

The feed shows everything the traders you follow are doing, which on an active day is more than anyone wants to read. These are the controls that make it smaller, and what each one really filters on.

Make The Feed Smaller

Most confusion comes from trying to read every card. Start broad, then use controls to make the feed match the markets and copy decisions you actually want to make.

Category

Filter to markets you understand, such as Sports, Politics, Crypto, or Economics. A trade in a market you understand can be more useful than one from a better-rated trader in a market you cannot evaluate.

Live games

Show markets tied to games or events currently in progress. These can move quickly, so price drift and liquidity matter more than usual.

Current positions

Focus on trades where you already hold a related position. This helps you avoid doubling up accidentally or copying the opposite side of an existing view.

Sold trades

Off by default. Turn it on to see sells that close a position the trader already held, which is how you read exits rather than only new buys. A sell can mean the trader is taking profit, cutting risk, or closing because the market has changed.

Resolved markets

Also off by default, so settled markets stay out of the feed. Turn it on only to review what happened; you cannot copy a market that has already resolved.

Trade size

Filter by how much the trader invested — any size, $100+, $500+, or $1,000+. Larger trades may signal conviction, but a large trade from a large bankroll is not automatically better than a smaller, well-timed position.

Copy Score on the card

Every card shows the trader's Copy Score, free. Use it to rule people out rather than to rank them, and remember it says nothing about this particular market, price, or timing.

Resolution window

Filter by when the market resolves: next hour, today, tomorrow, or this week. Near-term markets give faster feedback but leave less time for prices to recover; long-term markets tie up cash for longer.

Strategy type

Three switches for patterns Polycopy detects in the trader's book: Multiple Positions (they hold more than one side or market in the same event), Hedging (this trade offsets something they already hold), and Selling (they are reducing rather than adding). A hedge copied on its own is not a hedge — it is a naked position.

Current price

A cent range, with presets at 0-25¢, 25-50¢, 50-75¢ and 90¢+. Price also affects downside, upside, and whether small orders meet minimums — an expensive contract buys fewer shares for the same dollars.

Trader filter

Narrow the feed to one trader when you want to understand their pattern, verify a specific alert, or compare their latest trade with their history.

View and card mode

Use list or grid view based on how you scan. Simple card mode keeps the feed lighter; advanced mode exposes more execution and signal detail when you are ready for it.

Refresh and pins

Refresh when prices look stale, and pin cards you want to revisit. Pinning is useful when you need time to read the market before deciding whether to copy.
