Why strategies have a minimum budget

Every Strategy Bot has the same minimum budget. It exists so the bot can actually place trades rather than stalling on its first few.

Every strategy carries the same minimum budget, $100. Setup always shows the current figure and your limits, so read it there rather than here if the two ever disagree.

What the minimum is for

A Strategy Bot copies several traders, and each copy has to be big enough to be a real order. Polymarket will not accept an arbitrarily small one, and a position under a certain size cannot be sold at all, only held to resolution. The minimum gives the bot enough room to hold a spread of positions at once without every one of them landing at the floor.

Below it, the bot would place its first one or two copies and then stall with nothing left, which looks like a broken bot rather than a funded one.

A bigger budget is not a better bot

The minimum is a floor, not a target, and the setup step prefills it rather than a multiple of it. How many trades your bot places depends on your budget, your available cash, your limits, what the traders actually do, and market conditions. A larger budget does not guarantee more trades or better results.
